No Push Notifications / App Notifications

Enable notifications for the Anio app on your iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Type 'Anio' into the search field at the bottom.
  3. Go to the "Notifications" menu item.
  4. Enable 'Allow Notifications'.
  5. Enable 'Critical Alerts'.
  6. Under 'Alerts,' enable all 3 options (Lock Screen, Notification Centre, Banners).
  7. Select Banner Style: Persistent.
  8. Enable Sounds and Badges.
  9. Under 'Lock Screen Appearance':
    1. Show Previews: 'Always'
    2. Notification Grouping: Automatic.

If you still do not receive push notifications from the Anio smartwatch, try the following:

  • Disable and then enable Allow Notifications.
  • Restart your iPhone.
  • Enable Allow Notifications again.
  • Uninstall and then reinstall the app (this generates a new push token). Your data will be retained within the app.

Enable notifications for the Anio app on your Android device:

  1. Please open the Android Settings.
  2. Find and tap the option “Apps”
  3. Find and tap "Anio"
  4. Open the menu “Notifications”
  5. Enable "All ANIO Notifications."

Still not working?

Depending on your smartphone manufacturer, these settings may vary.

If it still does not work, check the app/notification power-saving settings in your smartphone’s manual.
