Occasionally, there can be issues with time synchronization. In such cases, the time can be manually transferred to the watch:
Set Time on Anio 6
Set Time on Anio 5
Anio 5:
To do this, send a simple SMS from your phone’s SMS program (not via the Anio app) with the following content to the watch’s number:
timesetting,YYYYMMDDHHMMSS#
It is important that you use the current UTC time (world time).
An example for daylight saving time (UTC+2) on May 14, 2021 at 13:20:30 (i.e., *UTC 11:20:30):
timesetting,20210514112030#
An example for standard time (UTC+1) on January 14, 2021 at 13:20:30 (i.e., *UTC 12:20:30):
timesetting,20210114122030#
- You first enter the date, so the SMS looks like this: timesetting,20210514HHMMSS#
- Now add the time in UTC to the SMS. Instead of 13:20:30, you enter 11:20:30: timesetting,20210514112030#
If you send the entire command timesetting,20210514112030# by SMS to the watch, the time will be set to 1:20:30 PM on 05/14/2021.
Once you have sent the SMS, the watch will receive the new data and you should receive a reply SMS shortly with the content "TIMESETTING OK".
For your information:
*UTC is the currently valid world time.
UTC+2 = daylight saving time
UTC+1 = standard time
