1. Activate SIM card

To connect the Anio watch with the Anio Watch App, you must first insert an activated SIM card with a data plan into the watch. Below you will learn how to activate the SIM cards we recommend.

Activate Telekom SIM Card:

If you purchased your Anio 6 directly from Telekom and are using a Telekom contract, you do not need to activate your SIM card yourself.

2. Deactivate SIM Card Pin Code

You can skip this step if you are using the Anio 6 Kids Smartwatch with a SIM card from Telekom, starmobile (Vodafone), Congstar, or yesss!

For your SIM card to be recognized by the watch, the SIM pin of the SIM card must be deactivated. First, insert the SIM card intended for the Anio 6 Kids Smartwatch into a smartphone.

3. Check Mailbox Settings for the SOS Function

During an SOS call, three contacts specified by you are called one after the other by the watch.
The Anio 6 calls the next contact after 13 seconds if the call is not answered. If the third contact also does not answer, the watch calls the first stored number again.

In general, the mailbox of most mobile providers picks up after 15 seconds or later, so the forwarding of SOS calls works without problems.

However, we recommend checking your personal mailbox settings to ensure that it does not pick up the call in less than 13 seconds.

4. Insert SIM Card

After activating the SIM card and possibly permanently deactivating the PIN query, you need to insert the SIM card into the turned-off Anio 6:

  1. Make sure the watch is turned off.

  2. Place the watch face down (the buttons should point to the left side)

  3. Insert the card tray opener into the slot under the strap holder on the top of the watch and open the SIM card tray. Remove the strap if necessary

  4. Place the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down into the SIM card tray.

  5. Slide the SIM card tray into the opening until it is completely closed.
