Instructions: How to correctly insert the SIM card into the SIM slot

1. Turn off the watch

  1. Pick up the Anio 6 and wake up the screen with a quick press of the button.

  2. Then, press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

  3. Confirm that you want to turn off the watch by tapping the green check mark.

2. Prepare the SIM card slot

  1. Once the watch is off, locate the SIM card slot.
    It's located above the watch face.

  2. For easier access, we recommend removing the strap from the watch.

3. Insert the SIM card

  1. Take the SIM card opener included with the Anio 6 and carefully open the slot.

  2. Gently pull the SIM card slot out of the watch.

  3. Now carefully place the SIM card into the slot:

    • The gold contacts on the SIM card must be facing downwards.

    • The cut-off corner of the SIM card must be aligned exactly as shown in the SIM card slot.

  4. Check that the SIM card is seated correctly before reinserting the slot into the watch.

  5. Carefully slide the slot back into the watch.
    Make sure the watch screen is facing down so the SIM card stays securely in place.

  6. It should slide in easily without any resistance.
    If it gets stuck, don't force it—remove the slot and try again.

  7. It can help to gently hold the SIM card from above so it doesn't slip out of place as you insert it.

4. Turn on the watch and check the SIM card

  1. Turn the watch back on.

  2. Swipe to the battery or status display to check if the SIM card is detected.

    • If the SIM card is not detected, the signal bars will appear crossed out in red.
