There can be many reasons why your device cannot make or receive calls. Let’s take a closer look:
- Coverage
- Balance
- Device defect
- Hidden number
- Numbers are not in the phone book/the phone book has not been transferred
- Incorrect number format
Coverage
Check whether you have sufficient coverage. You can also insert the SIM card into your mobile phone to test it.
HERE you will find information about SIM cards.
Balance
Is the SIM card a prepaid card? Check the balance.
Also check whether the card has been activated and whether the SIM PIN lock is disabled.
Device defect
1. Does the SIM card cover close completely, or does it stick out over the edge and sit crooked?
2. Are there any small parts on the SIM card cover that are broken or cracked?
3. Can the SIM card cover be removed from the watch easily and without problems?
4. Do you notice a defect in the gold SIM contacts in the watch? Is one missing, or are they pushed in?
5. Carefully bend the SIM contacts slightly upwards. A screwdriver works well for this.
6. Is there any visible damage or cracks on the watch case?
7. Does your cover have a small hole in the middle?
If any of these points apply, contact our customer support.
Hidden number
If your phone number is hidden, you must turn off hidden number on your smartphone; otherwise, the watch will block the call.
Numbers are not in the phone book/the phone book has not been transferred
You can only call the watch if your phone number is saved in the watch’s phone book. All other numbers are blocked.
Check on the watch whether names and numbers are saved in the phone book. If not, add them to the phone book via the app.
The number has been added to the app’s phone book, but is not displayed in the phone book on the watch?
In the device window, check whether the watch is connected to the app under “Latest contact with the app”. If there is no connection, press HERE.
If you have an internet connection, follow these steps:
- Open the app on your smartphone and find the phone book. Select any name and change one letter from lowercase to uppercase. This is only a temporary measure so that you can save the contact again.
- Once you have changed the letter, click “save”. This will make the phone numbers visible on the smartwatch again.
- You can now change the modified letter back in the phone book if you wish. This does not affect the functionality of the smartwatch.
!!! This solution is not possible without an internet connection !!!
Incorrect number format
The watch can only receive calls from these numbers if the phone numbers are saved with the correct country code.
For example, a German phone number is saved as follows: +49153******56
