There can be many reasons why your device cannot make or receive calls. Let's get to the bottom of it:
- Reception
- Credit balance
- Defect
- Suppressed number
- Numbers not in phonebook/phonebook not transferred
- Incorrect number format
Reception
Check if you have sufficient reception. You can also try using a SIM card from another provider as a test.
HERE you will find information about the SIM cards.
Credit balance
Is the SIM card a prepaid card? Please check the credit balance.
Also check if the card is activated and if the SIM PIN lock has been disabled.
Defect in the device
1. Does the SIM card cover close completely flush or does it protrude over the edge and stick out?
2. Are there any small broken or chipped parts on the SIM card cover?
3. Can the SIM card cover be removed from the watch easily and without problems?
4. Do you notice any defects on the gold SIM contacts in the watch? Is one missing or are they pressed down?
5. Please gently bend the SIM contacts upwards. This works well with a screwdriver.
6. Are there any damages or cracks visible on the casing?
7. Does your cover have a small hole in the middle?
If any of these points apply, please contact support.
Suppressed number
If your phone number is suppressed, you must disable number suppression on your smartphone; otherwise, the device will block the call.
Numbers not in the phonebook/phonebook not transferred
Only if your phone number is successfully saved in the device's phonebook can you call it. All other numbers will be blocked.
Please check on the device whether the respective names are stored in the phonebook. If not, add them to the phonebook in the app.
The number is entered in the phonebook in the app but does not appear in the phonebook on the watch?
Check in the device window whether the watch has a connection to the app "Last contact with app". If the connection is not there, tap HERE.
If you have an online connection, perform the following steps:
- Open the app on your smartphone and find the phonebook. Select any name and change one letter from lowercase to uppercase. This is only a temporary measure so you can save the phonebook again.
- After changing the letter, click "save". This will make the phone numbers visible again on your smartwatch.
- You can change the altered letter back in the phonebook if you want. The functionality of your smartwatch will remain unaffected.
!!! Without an online connection, this solution is not possible !!!
Numbers saved in the wrong format
Only if the phone numbers start with the respective country code can the watch be called from those phone numbers.
A German phone number, for example, is saved as follows: +491******456
